Smart monitors

LINE — MS SERIES · 24 / 27 / 32 INCH · MONITOR + SMART LAYER

A smart monitor is a monitor first — the right size for a desk or a room — with a smart display layer that lets it work on its own: content, information and media without a separate player or PC attached. The MS series covers three sizes, each with a model page.

Monitors with a smart display layer

The difference between this line and the signage line is the job. Signage is built to address a room or a street; a smart monitor is built to serve the person or the small group in front of it — a desk worker, a meeting table, a studio corner. The smart layer means the screen does not sit dark when the computer sleeps: it can carry information, schedules or media on its own, which is why these monitors keep appearing in home-office, education and small-space projects.

The comparison page with digital signage works through the boundary honestly, including the point at which a project should stop stretching a monitor and buy signage instead.

Smart monitors in education and care settings

Two settings keep adopting this line for the same reason: the screen must work without a computer department attached. In classrooms and study spaces, the smart layer carries the timetable and the day's material when no laptop is connected. In care and residential settings, it carries information and photographs for people who will never 'use' a computer at all. Both are desk-and-room-scale jobs that signage overshoots and plain monitors cannot do alone.

Specifying the smart layer honestly

'Smart' is the most inflated word in display marketing, so this line's buyers should be specific: name the standalone behaviour the screen must perform — which content, updated how, by whom — and ask for it to be confirmed in the quotation. A screen whose smart layer does exactly the two things your rooms need beats a screen with twenty features your rooms will never open.

Before you order

  • Decide what the smart layer must do on its own; that answer separates this line from plain monitors and from signage.
  • Tell us your target quantity and configuration so we can confirm the minimum order for your project.
  • Give the desk or room dimensions in the inquiry so the size recommendation is grounded.
